Your consultancy service partner for Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
GDP Consortium is an association of three UK life sciences consultancies operating in the GDP services sector: CommQP Ltd, GMP Healthcare Ltd and GDP Pharma Consulting Ltd.
The richly experienced leadership team is led by Mukesh Patel (CommQP Ltd) and Giby George (GMP Healthcare Ltd), both of whom are practicing QP’s & RP's.
The consortium is completed with Peter Coombs and Claire Glenister (GDP Pharma Consulting Ltd), both of whom are accomplished ex. MHRA Inspectors.
The aim of the consortium is to leverage the collective expertise, resources and knowledge of the three consultancies.
The group has twelve eligible RP’s and eight eligible RP-i’s.

CommQP Ltd
The company was established in 2006 by Mukesh Patel.
CommQP provide both technical and commercial consultancy services.
In the late 90's, Mukesh hosted some of the the first WDA MHRA inspections at Mars Inc. Incidentally, his MHRA inspector at the time was Peter Coombs!
CommQP activities in Good Distribution Practice:
Assisted a client to re-attain WDA after an adverse inspection
Conducted GDP gap analysis audits at various sites
Designed and implemented QMS's suitable for WDA holders
Provided bespoke GDP training
Audited the major WDA wholesalers in the the UK
Acted as RP & more recently as RPi
CommQP have 4 eligible RP/RPi's all of whom are trained lead auditors.
GMP Healthcare Ltd
Giby George is the founder and managing director of the GMP Healthcare group who are one of UK's largest life sciences consultancies.
The company, based in Hull, has 42 employees and 20+ associates.
GMP Healthcare activities in Good Distribution Practice:
Remediation audits (various)
Provision of GDP Training at various sites
Providing bespoke Quality Management Systems suitable for WDA holders
Attaining WDA for clients
Regulatory and licensing support
Temperature mapping of warehouses
Provision of contract RP/RPi's for various WDA(H)'s
Warehouse with storage space for upto 4000 pallet space (based in Hull)
GMP Healthcare have 8 eligible RP's & 4 eligible RPi's.
All the eligible RPs are trained lead auditors.
GDP Pharma Consulting Ltd
In 2020, ex MHRA inspectors Peter Coombs and Claire Glenister established this consultancy.
Peter was one of MHRA's longest serving GDP inspectors and, with Claire, they have over 30 years GDP experience at MHRA.
Both Claire and Peter have complementing skills and had worked together as MHRA Inspectors, and now, the partnership continues as partner consultants.
